INDONEWSIAN.COM – The establishment of the structure of the Majalengka Regency’s PDI Perjuangan Branch (DPC) for the 2025–2030 term has triggered internal party dynamics.
The focus is on Indra Sudrajat, who is called the only candidate for the head of the Majalengka PDIP District Committee (DPC) proposed by five Branch Offices (PAC), but he is not included in the established leadership structure.
The official structure of the DPC PDIP Majalengka was determined through the Branch Conference (Konpercab) held in Bandung. In the document “Structure and Composition of DPC PDIP Majalengka Regency for the Term 2025–2030” resulting from the VI Congress of 2025, Karna Sobahi was again entrusted as the Chairman of the DPC PDIP Majalengka.
The position of Secretary is held by Maman Faturrahman, Treasurer Aldy Novandhika, SE, as well as several Vice Chairpersons in various fields, including Tarsono D. Mardiana, Didi Supriadi, Gugun Sugiana, Kresna Humaniora, Rinna Sri Isdiyati, up to Prio Darmo Hutomo.
However, from the entire management structure, the name Indra Sudrajat is not listed at all, whether as a daily administrator or in the established field management structure.
Although, in the candidate selection mechanism for the Chairman of the DPC PDIP Majalengka, all 26 PACs at the district level were given the right to propose a maximum of three names to be considered by the Central Leadership Board (DPP) of PDIP.
From the process, Indra Sudrajat is said to have received support from five PACs, making him a candidate with open support from several PACs.
A PDIP cadre from Majalengka confirmed the existence of this support. However, he emphasized that the PAC proposal is not binding.
“Yes, there are several names proposed by PAC, including Mr. Karna Sobahi, Mr. Sutrisno, Mr. Didi, Mr. Tarsono, and also Mr. Indra,” he said.
The absence of Indra Sudrajat from the leadership structure of the DPC PDIP Majalengka has raised questions among grassroots members. After all, the support of five PACs is considered not a small number in the internal dynamics of the party at the regency level.
Until this news was released, there has been no official statement from the DPC PDIP Majalengka or the DPP PDIP regarding the reason why Indra Sudrajat was not accommodated in the management structure, although his name was proposed by five PACs.
This situation has sparked internal party discussions on how much the PAC voices should be considered in determining the management structure, as well as the strategic factors that form the main basis for the central decision.
The editorial office is still opening a space for clarification from the relevant parties. ***
